TAKE A LOOK

My Works.

My work spans a broad range of services for therapists and counselors across the world, from website design and copywriting to research assistance, creating newsletters, editing book chapters, and more.

Here’s a glimpse into some of the projects I’ve worked on.

Website Design for A New Hope Academy

For this project, I was tasked with designing a website on Wix for A New Hope Academy, a new and exciting non-profit delivering training and professional development services to therapists.

I collaborated with its wonderful President, Maria Laquerre-Diego, generating ideas for a design and imagery to reflect the organisation’s focus on pop culture (and her passion for Star Wars!), and its innovative & playful approach to training, while remaining sleek and conveying their high level of professionalism.

With the academy’s wide range of services, a key aspect to the website’s success was organising their offerings into a user-friendly, easy-to-navigate site. Since many of their events have a global reach beyond their base in the United States, I also integrated global inclusivity features such as time zone conversion links.

Nothing was more rewarding than hearing that Maria’s long-time colleague remarked that the website truly captured Maria and her mission to help other professionals by seamlessly integrating her love for pop culture with professional development and making learning fun and engaging.

Thinkific On-Demand Training Site Design

A New Hope Academy also needed a platform to host their on-demand learning. We decided to go with Thinkific which suited the functionalities they required.

I designed the site to align with the main website design and branding, with an easy-to-navigate layout.

Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and accessibility, I enhanced this project by adding captions to all courses, utilizing Descript for their creation.

Website Copy, Psychology Today Profile & Blog for Healing Relationships Counseling Services

For this project, I had the privilege of working with Liliana Baylon of Healing Relationships Counseling Services to refine and strengthen her private practice website. Liliana’s previous website had a broad focus, so we worked together to define her ideal client group—bicultural individuals and multicultural couples—and highlighting four key specialisms.

We decided to work with a Squarespace design template, and my focus was on creating compelling copy to attract ideal fit clients, complemented by resonant images.

We updated Liliana’s Psychology Today profile to maximise her listing’s visibility. To further enhance her SEO, I created and manage the blog on her website which I edit, offer images, and upload monthly. To ensure legal compliance, I also made sure the website included updated terms, disclaimer, and privacy policy.

Website Design & Mailchimp Newsletter for Liliana’s Consulting Services

For Liliana’s consulting arm of her business, I was invited to design the website, and we I opted for Squarespace which is my preferred hosting platform.

I crafted a tagline to reflect Liliana’s specialism, pairing the copy with imagery throughout that aligns with her central symbol and logo of the dandelion, and met her wish for royal blue to be a central colour. To honour her bilingual identity and Spanish-speaking viewers I created a bilingual welcome page, ensuring the whole website is accessible in both English and Spanish.

I organized the content into a clear, easy-to-navigate structure. The result is a professional, user-friendly website that spotlights Liliana’s expertise and diverse offerings.

Additionally, I created a branded newsletter template on Mailchimp, which I design, edit, and schedule monthly. To get a flavour of these, you can sign up for them here.

Website Design for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

Karen Joy Lever, a child and adolescent psychotherapist, approached me to redesign her website. The goal was to create an inviting and professional platform for families to learn more about her work, with a balanced focus on both her parent and child services.

Using the copy and images Karen provided, which were thoughtfully chosen to resonate with her client groups, I designed a visually appealing website on Squarespace. To enhance her online presence, I also designed a logo that ties the visual elements together.

The end result is a user-friendly, professional platform that allows families to effortlessly explore her offerings and connect with her.
